||Mike Devine licensed his first invention more than 10 years ago. The trampoline saftey net became an overnight success and Mike was paid in royalties. Later, he recieved an exclusive licining agreement with upfront payments and fair royalties. He began to suspect that residual royalties were being avoided and when he requested an opportunity to review the accounting records, he was quickly rejected.
Mike learned valuable lessons about licensing and inventing. Today, he holds several patents.
Mike is a successful business owner. Currently, he operations a commercial carpet cleaning LLC that operates in greater Kansas City.
Mike joined ICKC in 2003 and has served on the Board of Directors for several terms.
